Synple is a high-tech company based in Breda, The Netherlands. Synple specializes in creating user-friendly and intuitive software. Our software seamlessly integrates into the daily operations of transport companies. With the Synple platform our customers can easily find capacity and exchange freight in order to increase efficiencies.
Synple already has a strong presence and traction in the Dutch road transport market, supporting a broad customer base in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Heavy Road Cargo (HRC) industries.
Synple develops a platform with a UI for transport managers and planners. The platform is realtime integrated with the existing ERP environments of the users. In this technology diverse set up and operationally challenging business, we are developing value adding functionalities for the users. This is a creative, solution focused, user oriented continuous improvement process. Today we are working with some 20 renowned Dutch transport companies to pilot and develop. We are following the users (both in the system and on the shop floor) to understand their needs and further improve. We are planning to roll out the product in more than 100 transport companies in 2018.
Synple was founded recently and is building its own Tech Team since beginning of 2017. The team is growing and currently the Tech Team exists of 4 experienced and 3 starting engineers and developers. The Synple team further has analysts and logistic domain experts.
You will be part of the Synple Tech Team. You will be working as developer, but also contribute to other business processes, from the ideation process, the operations process, user interaction, to domain specific products and services. As a developer you are eager to understand the full stack, and you have specific interests or tasks that you want to own. You are a teamplayer and at the same time are willing to accept responsibilities. The team can rely on you: you deliver quality and challenge other team members on their developments.
As advanced developer you have:
- Bachelor/Master Degree (HBO or WO), computer science or equivalent
- Fundamental interests in engineering and development, which is proven in hobbies or jobs
- Ambition to become full stack senior developer
- Not afraid of start-ups/scale-ups (ambitious, strange, focused, spirited)
- Experience with advanced tech stacks, event-sourcing, micro-services, function oriented programming
As advanced developer you might have:
- Experience with Lean, Scrum, Agile, Kanban
- Had full stack responsibilities, at least some front-end and back-end experiences
- Worked in a well organized project or development team
- Worked in a more creative and open team
