Operations and Improvement Manager

Synple is a high-tech company based in Breda, The Netherlands. Synple specializes in creating user-friendly and intuitive software. Our software seamlessly integrates into the daily operations of transport companies. With the Synple platform our customers can easily find capacity and exchange freight in order to increase efficiencies.
Synple already has a strong presence and traction in the Dutch road transport market, supporting a broad customer base in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Heavy Road Cargo (HRC) industries.
Synple develops a platform with a UI for transport managers and planners. The platform is realtime integrated with the existing ERP environments of the users. In this technology diverse set up and operationally challenging business, we are developing value adding functionalities for the users. This is a creative, solution focused, user oriented continuous improvement process. Today we are working with some 20 renowned Dutch transport companies to pilot and develop. We are following the users (both in the system and on the shop floor) to understand their needs and further improve.
The team exists of people with broad experience in the industry. Synple was founded recently and is building its own Tech Team since beginning of 2017. The team is growing and has developers, analysts and logistic domain experts. The team is international and passionate to grow and expand from Benelux to Europe in the coming years.
We are hiring an implementation manager.
The implementation manager takes full ownership of the implementation with customers. You make sure all implementation steps are done by own organization and in the organization of the customer. You follow up with key-users. There is a strong technology side to this job, where you interact with operations managers, IT managers, IT developers, but also a business side, where you truly want to understand what users need and want to get started. You make the difference with a seamless start, where users feel heard and get solutions to their problems in the user start up phase.
As implementation manager you have:
- Bachelor/Master Degree (HBO or WO), technology/business management or equivalent
- Experience in managing relations (internal and external)
- Experience with Implementation projects, Project management
- Experience with more than one ERP environment
- Not afraid of start-ups/scale-ups (ambitious, international, strange, focused, spirited people;))
As an implementation manager you might already have:
- Experience with Information Management, data models and exchange protocols or languages
- Experience with continuous improvement (Lean, TPM, World Class, TOC, QRM)
- Experience with Scrum, Agile
